Junk Core was a personal project that I worked on- on and off for a while now. The basis of the character is that it is a core from Valve's Portal series. I wanted to model a more spherical object, so the challenge was on.
I modeled and rigged it in Maya, Textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Arnold.
I wanted to up my presentation of this little guy by making em move. I was able to rig the character in maya and create usable controls for animation. After, I spent a day creating a loop to give it a bit more personality.
